The fund initially focuses on rooftop solar deployment through investments in leading Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) in Bangladesh and Nepal, where solar penetration remains low despite significant market potential.
Beyond solar, ORE II is designed to support the full spectrum of industrial decarbonisation solutions, including energy efficiency measures, battery energy storage systems, and other clean energy technologies that help manufacturers reduce costs, improve energy resilience, and meet increasingly stringent sustainability requirements from global buyers.
